Orlando Lee Snell

Orlando Lee Snell was born June 20th 1945; he passed away at 71 years old in Topeka Ks.

Orlando and his wife of 41 years old were lifetime residents of Overbrook Ks. Together they had one child, Tonya, however he became a father to four other children, that he loved very much; Sherry, Terry, Barry and Renea.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughters, Renea Deshazer and Tonya (Bruce) Haukenberry as well as multiple grandchildren; Carissa Deshazer, Kelsey Deshazer, Hayden Cunningham, Chaysen Cunningham, Josie Tucker, Jesse Tucker, Jonnie & Robert Warthen, Christina & Dax Lewis, Patricia Davidson, Michelle & Trevor Gibson, Stephen & Kayeloni Davidson and multiple great grandchildren.

Snell was preceded in death by both parents, Orlando Lee & Mary E. Snell. His daughters, Sherry Barr, Terry Tucker, son, Barry Warren and his grandson Ryan Davidson.

Snell was an avid horse rider, roper & breeder. He was a member of the Lyndon Saddle Club for many years. He loved to hunt, golf, B.S. with friends, and after retirement he loved going to sales searching for antiques and furniture.

Snell had been employed by KPL, Osage County Deputy Sheriff's Department; and had been owner of Snell's Tree Trimming. He was known to Osage County Road Department as "the best" Road Grader. He co-owed The Patch Tavern in Overbrook for 30 years. He retired from Osage County as road & bridge supervisor. He then delivered the Topeka Capital Journal in and outside of Overbrook.
