Nathaniel J Allen

Nathaniel "Nate" Allen, 45, went to be with his Savior on January 1, 2021. He was born on February 23, 1975 to Donald and Deborah Allen.

Nate met a shy, quiet woman and decided that her life should be filled with laughter, garage sales, spaghetti dinners and amazing in-laws, so he married her. He was united in marriage to Christy Owens on September 4, 1999.

Nate enjoyed watching KU games, spending time with nieces and nephews, and talking to anyone. He loved meeting new people and didn't know a stranger. He delighted in making others laugh and would give the shirt off his back if someone was in need. He loved making cookies for delivery people, friends, neighbors, family and whoever was not on a diet. His philosophy was to always make someone smile.

He is missed, remembered and survived by his father, Donald Sr, his wife Christy and his siblings Donald Allen Jr., Rebecca Coons, Thomas Allen, Thaddaeus Allen, Rachael Weber, Abby Lord, Jeremiah Allen and Jonathan Allen. He is now reunited with and was proceeded in death by his mother, Deborah Allen.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private family Celebration of Life at Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday, January 16th at 10am. This service will also be live streamed on Facebook and YouTube. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Chair Fund.
