Nathan Ervin Mellot, Jr

Nathan Ervin Mellot, Jr., of Topeka, KS, died August 20, 2024, at the age of 52.

He was born November 6,1971, in Lawrence Kansas the son of Nathan E. Mellott, Sr and Gayle (Lister) Mellott.

Nathan graduated from Highland Park High School. Some of his favorite things to do were to go fishing, volunteering for the food give way at his church, going for a walk, eating at Golden Coral and Sonic, watching the KC Chiefs or Walker Texas Ranger, drinking Coffee and Dr. Pepper but most of he simply enjoyed helping others.

Nathan is survived by his father, Nathan E. Mellott Sr., his mother, Gayle Brock, a brother Derek (Barbara) Mellott, and his companion, Val William. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edith Myers, Leon Lister, Donna Wilson, and Charles Mellott, aunts and uncles, Greg, Kenny, Kim, Tamy, Mike, Charles and Joylee.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 31,2024, at the Family of God Church, 1231 NW. Euguene, Topeka.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Midwest Cremation, 525 SE 37th Street, Topeka, KS 66605.
