Nancy Jo Estes

Nancy Jo Estes, 69 of Topeka passed away at her family home on June 28, 2020. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 4, 1950, she was the daughter to Doyle and Pat Emperley. Nancy graduated from Carbondale High School in 1968 and later that year married Robbie Harrision. The next summer Robbie drowned. Nancy was fortunate to find love again and married Allen Rich in 1976. They later divorced. In 1988, she married Frank Morris. They later divorced. In 1994 she found her true love and married Richard Estes. Nancy is survived by her children Brandy (Eric) Ortiz and Craig (Amanda) Estes. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her siblings, William (Constance) Emperley of Burlingame, KS Craig (Nancy) Emperley, Fredonia, WI, Phillip Emperley of Topeka, KS, Roger (Deffene) Emperley of Silver Lake, KS, Stan(Sue) Emperley of Lafayette, LA, Bev (Tim) Masters of Wakarusa, KS, Brian (Sheila) Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Pat Emperley, two of her husbands, Robbie Harrison and Richard Estes, and her son, Cody Rich. Pursuant to her wishes, cremation has been performed. A celebration of life is being planned at a future time.
