Michael Meyer

Michael (Mick) Meyer, 73, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Topeka, Kansas. Mick was born August 18, 1945 in Falls City, Nebraska the son of Walter and Alma (Malan) Meyer. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1963. He joined the Navy from 1965- 1967. Mick retired from the Topeka Police Department in 1988 and the Department of Children and Family in 2017.

Mick is survived by his wife Sharon of over 25 years, step-son Trent Bishop, sons Michael (Katina) and Mathew both of Topeka, grandsons Zach and Jake. Brother James Meyer of Topeka.

Mick was a member of the American legion Post 400, VFW and Fraternal Order of Police. Mick enjoyed riding his Harley, his boat on Lake Perry, his dogs and entertaining friends.

A celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 400 on Hwy 24 Topeka, KS on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11am -2pm.
