Mary Esther Wolc

Mary Esther (Hulse) Wolc, age 66, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on August 3, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Topeka, Mary attended Most Pure Heart and Hayden High School. She went on to pursue her interest in horticulture at VoTech and dedicated her career to service, eventually retiring from the VA Call Center. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing in a local pool league.

Mary is survived by her partner of 12 years, Jim Gish. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Brent Wolc and her parents Homer and Madeline Hulse.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the autumn, and a tree will be planted in her memory.
