Mary Anna White DOB 8-20-1933 Junction City, Kansas

Died August 12, 2015 at Holiday Resort, Emporia, KS. All her children were able to be with her for the final days, and all her grandchildren were able to talk with her on the phone as was her brother.

One final kiss and she was relieved of her pain and worries.

Married to the late M/Sgt Robert L White May 10, 1952, he died January 29, 1965

Preceeded in death by her parents, and brothers, Ralph M Mathes, and

Virgil I Mathes II; and Husband

Surviving children Daniel L. White, Cathryn White Harrison of Emporia, Robert L. White II (Maggie) of Dodge City, KS Lewis VK White of Emporia, KS , and Michael PA White of Santa Barbara, CA ,

Grandchildren; Yong Su (Nick) Canelos, Commerce,CO Frances (David) Zaworski of Lake Charles, LA , Stacey (Chris) Walton, Robert White III of Lubbock TX and Tiare Zavaleta of Santa Barbara, CA; Laake and Aero White of Emporia, KS

Great grandchildren, Myka and Cade Walton, Isabelle Canelos, Cy White , Rigley Zaworski . Many nieces nephews, and cousins.

Mary was past president of Ruth Rebekah Lodge #44 of Junction City, KS, served as Den mother, Girl Scout leader, and room mother, for her five children. Mary worked a few odd jobs as school cafeteria assistant in Lompoc, CA, and day care provider to many special babies. She loved crafts, miniatures Christmas time and John Conlee music. Mary was a military wife who supported her family while her husband served and died for our country. The family lived in many different homes during her career as wife and mother. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mary was a true matriarch who will forever be loved and missed.

Mary is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Junction City, KS. Cremation has taken place. Private graveside services will be at a later date.
