On June 13, 2015 Mary Louise Wariner (89) went to join the choir of her Heavenly Father. Mary claimed Aldersgate Village as her home when she passed.
Mary was born in Anthony, KS on November 24, 1925 to Floyd Morgan Risch and Erma Irene Haltom. She married Robert Eugene Wariner on April 24, 1943 in Lawton, OK when Robert was in the United States Army.
She was a graduate of South Haven High School. Mary spent most of her adult years as a resident of South Haven, KS. Mary was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom for many years. She worked at Cedar View Nursing Home in Wellington, KS and retired after 21 years of service.
She was a member of First Christian Church at South Haven. She was active in church activities over the years until her health forced her to live with her children. She sang in the choir and persuaded her children to do the same. She loved singing the hymns.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, son Robert J Wariner, daughter Deborah L Sutton, brother Thomas Risch and brother-in-law Joe Hellstern.
Mary is survived by daughter Ruth Ashworth, Frisco, TX; daughter Judy Pearson and husband Richard, Topeka, KS; daughter-in-law Helen Wariner, Reno, NV; sister Margaret Hellstern, Gentry, AR and sister-in-law Charlotte Knox, Lakewood, CO. Grandchildren: Christine Pearson, Overland Park, KS; Glen (Stacey) Pearson, Rose Hill, KS; Gentry (Nicole) Ashworth, Frisco, TX; Jennifer Wright, Frisco, TX; Angelia (Frank) Reilly, Beaumont, CA; Robert J Wariner II (Dorene), Reno, NV; Heather (Mike) Arredondo, Riverside, KS and Jacqueline Warren, Riverside, CA. Mary had 13 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Nephew and nieces: Greg (Nancy) Risch, Lakewood, CO; Elizabeth (Andy) Barrow, Puerto Vallarta Mexico; Barbara Hellstern (Bill Daniels), Boise, ID; Donna Marie (Danny) Elrod, Siloam Springs, AR.

Aldersgate memorial service will be June 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM for residents and staff.
