Mary Kathrine Simpson Collins

Mary Kathrine Simpson Collins, (Kathy as she was known to family and friends),Topeka, died Friday, April 9, 2021, at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka. She was 61.

Kathy was born March 21, 1960, in Houston, Texas, to Lloyd and Mary Simpson. She grew up in Lyndon, and later moved to Topeka. She was a CNA and CMA at various nursing homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Robert and Charlie Simpson.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Linda Schneidewind, Lyndon; stepbrother, Bob Knoernschild, Lyndon; and stepsisters Carolyn Nauheim and Becky Rogg, Topeka.

Kathy is being cremated. There will be a private interment at Lyndon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Stormont Vail Foundation.
