Maria Elena Vick

Maria Elena Vick, 84, of Topeka, Kansas, peacefully went home to Jesus her Lord and Saviour on April 16, 2026.She was born in Denver, Colorado in 1941 to John Raymond Pigg and Alana Lulu Burns Pigg, living her beginning years in the care of her mother and grandmother. Maria received traditional elementary and secondary education; she also studied a great deal independently before entering the workforce and then starting her own family.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as her stepfather, Carl Coerber, numerous brothers and sisters, three sons, and her husband Robert Keith Vick. She is survived by eight daughters, seven sons, and ever so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private cremation has been arranged through Midwest Cremation of Topeka, Kansas. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 9 at Highland Heights Christian Church at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Highland Heights Christian Church or to Midland Care in Topeka. The family is grateful for the care and friendship extended by both of these organizations.
