Margaret Ann Martin

Margaret Ann Martin, 94, of Topeka Kansas passed away September 11, 2025, with loved ones by her side.

She was born September 6, 1931, at Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, to Edith and Les Talkington .

Margaret married Wayne Martin November 1948. Out of this union they had one daughter, Diane Delany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Paul, Dutch, Bud, and Walt. She is survived by her daughter Diane Delany and sister Shirley Smith of Council Grove, Kansas. Stepdaughter: Stacy Jacques, husband Martin; Stepson: Randy Pickett, wife Nelda.  Grandchildren: Brandon Delany and his girlfriend, Erica, Ryan Delany and wife Jennifer, Raven Jacques and Daniel Guareca, Danielle Mack and her husband Shaun.  Several great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Margaret and Dave Pickett were together many years before she moved to Luther Place.

She didn't know a stranger, and she loved making new friends. She loved playing cards and gardening. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 26, at 10:30 am at St. Anthony's Cemetery Strong City, Kansas.

Memorial contribution checks can be made out to Margaret Martin's Memorial Fund, sent in care of Midwest Cremation, 525 SE 37th Street, Topeka, KS 66605. This will be used for the wildlife food at Health Care Resort.
