Marcia Faye Robuck Slater

Marcia was born onDecember 24, 1948in Lawrence Ks, the daughter of Glenn V.Robuck and Faye S. Robuck (Ayers).She passed on Saturday, April 12, at Midland Hospice in Topeka. Marcia graduated from Lecompton High School in 1966. Marcia married Gary A. Slater October 1,1966 in Tecumseh, Ks.Gary preceded her in deathJuly 3, 2007.Gary and Marcia started their own Business in 1973 where she was the bookeeper. She later worked as a bookeeper for Hillhaven and as a monitor tech at St. Franis Hospital. Marcia later recieved her CNA, HHA and worked at Midland Hospice, Guardian Angels, as well as Advantage Home Health. She enjoyed being a room mom and serving on the PTO at Tecumesh North, as well a Girl Scout Leader, Brownies through Cadettets and a Den Leader as well. She was a good cook and an avid gardner.

Marcia is survived by her 3 children, daughter, Tracy Wendt; daughter, Tammy Murk and husband, Loren; son, Raymond Slater all of Topeka; her sister, Chalice Elliott, Holton; brother, James Robuck and wife, Charlene, Topeka; sister, Grace Cardell and husband, Bob, Richmond; 12 grandchildren,Shanteal Grey, Channing Allen, Christian Grey, Zerah Allen, Cody Frost, Nikki Murk, Britan Allen, Hayes Wendt, Nicholas Slater-Allen, Destrie Allen, Chastyne Slater and Gareth Wendt.

Marica was preceded in death by her husband Gary,July 3, 2007; her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister; andgrandson, Trenton Slater,May 11, 1996.

Rememberance Service for Marcia will beSaturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00at the Big Springs United Methodist Church 96 U.S. Hwy 40, Lecompton, KS. Private family burial will be at Eastview Cementary
