Manuel Cervantez

Manuel Cervantez, 77 of Topeka, passed away April 25, 2017. He was born December 30, 1939; son of Lorenzo and maria (Peralta) Cervantez.

Manuel was a long-term resident of Sheltered Living, Inc. since 1970's. He worked at TARC for numerous years. Manuel had numerous caseworkers, caregivers, and direct support professionals who worked with him over these past years. Manuel loved his home with Sheltered Living He enjoyed the day and sitting outside. He especially enjoyed listening to music, primarily Mexican music.

Manuel is survived by a brother; Frank (Amelia) Cervantez, and sisters; Lola Vega and Guadalupe Guerrero of Topeka, and Caroline Garcia of Las Vegas, NV. He had numerous nieces and nephews.

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Felipe, Tony, Joseph, Memo, and Ernest and sisters; Isabelle and Delores.

Manuel was cremated. A memorial mass was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
