Lucia A. Estrada

Lucia A. Estrada (Lucy), 82, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away February 14, 2017. She was born on August 10, 1934 in Alice, Texas and was the daughter of Manuel and Maria (Iglesias) Saldivar. Cremation has taken place.

Lucy was preceded in death by her two sons, Adan Almaraz, Jr. and Fabian Almaraz, sister, Guadalupe Salgado, as well as her parents. She is survived by her two daughters, Eva (Luis) Tinajero and Belen Rivera, both of Topeka, her son, Michael (Diana) Almaraz of Edgewood, New Mexico, daughter-in-law, Theresa Almaraz of Topeka, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Town and Country Christian Church, 4925 SW 29th st., Topeka. Graveside services will be held immediately following the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 801 SW Westchester rd., Topeka. Contributions can be made to the Town and Country Christian Church. In honor of Lucy, the family requests friends and family to wear red to the service.
