Louise Brown Rogers was born at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 28, 1926, and passed away at the Gardens of Aldersgate in Topeka, Kansas on December 23, 2025, at 99 ½ years under the care of Prairie Wind Hospice.
After graduating from High School in Sperry, Oklahoma, she was married to Willie Rogers on January 10, 1947, for 70 years until his death in 2017.
Louise had one son, Donald of Topeka and a granddaughter, Kristina of Indianapolis; also, a daughter-in-law Judy and those who considered her as “Grandma Louise”, Twila Howard, Kenn Howard & wife Heidi.
Louise was highly involved in school PTA and Cub Scouts in Tulsa. She enjoyed making crafts with her longtime friends. She and Willie enjoyed traveling including a trip to Alaska and a rail trip through Canada for their 50th anniversary. They visited many sites around northeast Kansas that most neighbors hadn’t seen.
She and Willie moved to Topeka in 1998 to be closer to Donald and Judy.
She will be buried in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Willie at Floral Haven Cemetery.
