Lolita J. Thomas

Lolita J. Thomas 80, of Salina passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospice, Kansas City Missouri. She was born August, 10, 1937 in Salina to John Sr. and Irma Curtis. Lolita was the wife of the late Howard Thomas.

Survivors include: her daughter Sheryl Sanders (Holly) of Lawrence Ks., Roy Brownridge of New Iberia Louisiana, and Denene Turner of Topeka Ks.

Sons: John Thomas (Diana) of Las Vegas , NV, Delano Thomas ( Brandie) of Topeka Ks, and Bryan Thomas of Salina Ks. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grand children.

Lolita was preceded in death by her husband , Howard Thomas , her parents and sons, Donald and Joseph.

Cremation has taken place and a remembrance service will take place during church service on Feb.25, 2018 at Allen Chapel AME Church, Salina Ks. The family will provide a meal after the service to fellowship.

While our hearts are broken we thank God for allowing us to have such a wonderful, wise, loving mother guideus through life. We love you Mom always.
