Lois "Fern" Millentree

Lois "Fern" Millentree, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, in Topeka, KS. Born on September 2, 1950, in Horton, KS, Fern was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience who lit up the lives of all who knew her.

Fern was the rock of her family, a woman of unwavering love and kindness. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Leon Millentree, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to their unwavering love and commitment, inspiring all who knew them. Fern is survived by her devoted children, Erik Pewamo and Melissa Millentree, who will forever cherish their mother's memory.

Fern was also a doting grandmother to Devin, Khari, and Kanaan Millentree. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments. She had a unique way of making each one feel special, and her love for them was unmeasurable.

Fern was one of seven siblings, and she is survived by June, Lawana, Jeffrey, and Lionel (Mogi). She was predeceased by John, Gordon, and Barry. Her relationships with her siblings were filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of family. She was a source of support and guidance to her siblings, and her absence will be deeply felt.
