Lois Alene Webb Darby passed away on May 5, 2016. Lois was born to Keith and Dorothy Webb in Osage City, KS on July 25, 1925. She graduated from Osage City High School.

Employed as a civil servant at Fort Riley, she lived in Manhattan until she retired in 1978 to Topeka to be closer to her mother and family. She doted on her nieces and nephews. Lois enjoyed watching and feeding the many birds in her beautiful flower gardens, shopping, and socializing with friends.

She lived a long, full life and "did it her way". She will be sorely missed.

She was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sisters, Kay Frantz, of Topeka, Gene Schroeder of Los Angeles, nephews, Danny Frantz, Olathe Ks, Jarrod Frantz, Topeka Ks,David Rose, Albany CA, Jim, John and Jeff Schroeder, CA and nieces,Lisa Vermeire, Lenexa KS, Cheryl Burress and Dena Flora of VA. Also many great nieces and great nephews. A celebration of her life will beheld Saturday, May 28 from 4-6 pm at the Blue Moose in Topeka KS.
