Lisa Marie Kisner, 45, passed away on July 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of those whose lives she touched. She was born on October 23, 1980, in Topeka, Kansas, to Dean and Linda (Brown) Kisner.
Lisa lived a life filled with love for her family, a vibrant sense of style, and a joyful spirit that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Dominique Da'Shane Byrd, Mar'Quan Ontario Byrd, Tevin Anthony Jenkins, and Paityn Jovany Jenkins. She treasured every moment spent with them and found immeasurable happiness in being a grandmother to Solana Reign Byrd, Tayvo Kaj'omyri Dobrisky, and Ma'Kai Omarion Byrd, who brought endless joy to her life.
Lisa is also survived by her loving parents, Dean and Linda Kisner; her sister, Mary Kisner; one beloved niece; three cherished nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her family was her greatest pride and her greatest blessing.
Lisa had a personality that could light up any room. She loved elephants and admired the strength, wisdom, and beauty they represented. She had a passion for music, sports cars, and motorcycles, and she enjoyed keeping up with the latest fashion trends. Lisa took pride in looking her best, loved dressing up, and was rarely without her favorite fragrance. Her warmth, confidence, and radiant smile left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all else, Lisa will be remembered for the unconditional love she had for her children and grandchildren. Her kindness, vibrant personality, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
Although her time on earth was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain her enduring legacy. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
A graveside service to celebrate Lisa's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66606. Family and friends are invited to attend as they gather to honor her life and cherish the memories she leaves behind.
A luncheon and time of fellowship will immediately follow the graveside service at University United Methodist Church, 1621 SW College Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. All who knew and loved Lisa are welcome to join the family in sharing memories and celebrating her life.
The family sincerely appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time and asks that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their beloved Lisa.
