Lisa Marie Hoffman

Lisa Marie Hoffman (Smith), 56, of Topeka, KS succumbed to a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer in the evening of March 7th, 2020. Lisa was cared for in the comfort of her home where shortly after a gathering of friends and family, she was relieved of her symptoms. Lisa was born in Topeka, KS on September 30th, 1963 as the daughter of J Stanley and Marcella (Sally) Iris Smith (Wood) who have preceded her in death. Lisa was the baby sister to three older brothers, Rick Smith (Gale Wise), Ray Smith (Pamela), Ron Smith (Sally). On October 4th, 1992 Lisa became a mother to her daughter, Chelsea Renae Hoffman, and a grandma to Shayson Wesley Schneider, July 8th, 2013.

Lisa graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1981.  She then worked for the Kansas Department of Labor for 27 years ending as an Ergonomics Consultant. Lisa knew how to make the most of her time and appreciated the people she loved. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts of all kinds, cooking/baking, gardening, finding a good sale, and a notable love of frogs and her dogs, Oscar, Randall, and Daphney.

One last whoorah to celebrate Lisa's life will be held at Boulevard Billiards at 4700 SW Topeka Blvd from  2-6pm on Sunday, March 15th, 2020.
