Linda M. Baalman, born January 10, 1952, in Hays, Kansas, to her parents John H. and Ruth M. (Racette) Baalman. Passed away July 19, 2021 (69 yoa) at the Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina, Ks. Linda grew up in Oakley, KS and graduated from Oakley High School and from Colby Community College.
She later moved to Salina, Ks. Linda worked at Hospital for a short period of time. She became a very established cabinet maker and retired with the cabinet company.
Linda enjoyed collecting figurines and dolls of Angels. She was always a generous person. If you had a problem that you could not resolve she tried to assist.
She is survived by her son Kyle Baalman, her lifelong partner Gene Engberg, three grandchildren Kale, Kamden and Brilee Baalman; siblings Roger (Carol, Las Vegas, NV), sister-in-law Maize Baalman (Colorado Spring, CO), Beverley Ries (Jerry, Topeka, KS), Kevin (Chicago, IL.) Duane (Michaela, Oakley KS), Bruce (Tammy, Willis, TX) and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth M. and John H. Baalman and her brother Ronald Baalman.
Linda will be cremated at the Midwest Cremation Society, Inc. in Topeka, Ks with a private memorial later.
