LaVona Kay Jaymes-Lafferty, 54, Scranton, KS, passed away on March 23,2018. Born June 19,1963 to Wallace and Fern Dodds-Jaymes in St. George, KS. She married Lyle L. Lafferty September 4,1982.

Survivors include husband Lyle, daughter Kellen, grandson Ayden of Scranton, KS. Sister Kathy and husband Bruce Scofield of North Carolina. Brother Gary Jaymes of Cottonwood Falls, KS. Brother Larry Jaymes and wife Cheryl of Wamego, KS. Services will be held Friday March 30, 2018 at 10:00 at the Auburn Methodist church at 240 8th St, Auburn, KS 66402.
