Lauralyn M. Hutchinson, known affectionately as Lyn to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, in Topeka, KS, at the age of 73. Born on September 24, 1951, in Galesburg, IL, Lyn was a beacon of kindness and wisdom throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Lyn graduated from Topeka West High School and went on later in life to further her education at Washburn University. She had a long and fulfilling career at Blue Cross & Blue Shield, where she was not only respected for her work ethic but also cherished for her friendly demeanor.

Beyond her professional life, Lyn was deeply passionate about her personal interests which included reading, crafts, and genealogy.
