Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in creating beauty in the world, whether it was through her handmade gift bags or handmade gifts. Her handmade treasures became keepsakes that her family and friends will continue to cherish, each holiday a reminder of her love and dedication.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry Porter Highley Sr., and her daughter, Susan Alise Brogan, Sharon's legacy of love and generosity lives on through her family. She is survived by her son-in-law Jeff Brogan; grandchildren Jason, Jared, Jeremiah, and Jennifer Brogan; her son Larry Porter Highley Jr. and his wife Evonne; grandchildren Andrea and Montana Highley; her daughter Laura Heather Howie and her husband J. Darin; and grandchildren Kate Yawn, Drue Howie, and Abigail Lamson. Sharon was also the proud great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Throughout her life, Sharon's actions spoke volumes about her character. She nurtured her family with the same selflessness and care that she extended to her friends and community. Her presence was a comfort, her counsel sought after, and her approval a coveted blessing.
