Laura Delane Deen, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2023, in Moran, Kansas. She was born on May 27, 1953, in Fort Scott, Kansas, and lived a life full of love, warmth, and deep connections.
Laura was a woman of strong faith and unwavering spirit. Her resilience in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her. Even during her battle with cancer, she remained optimistic and courageous, a beacon of hope and strength for her family and friends. She was admired for her selflessness and her ability to bring a sense of peace and comfort to those around her.
Laura was preceded in death by her siblings Dorothy, Donna, Bonnie, Larry, Bill, Paul and Danny Allen, and a granddaughter, Chelsea Logan. She is survived by her son David Allen Logan and wife Brenda Logan of Moran, KS. Her daughter Leslie Logan of Albany, GA, son Chad Logan of Fort Scott, KS and daughter Danell Harper and husband David Harper of Bronson, KS. In addition, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend Gayla Penland and husband Harry, and a special friend Hoy Hawkins of Moran, KS.
Laura's life was a beautiful example of love, resilience, and family unity. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed by all her family and extended family at Moran Manor nursing facility.
