Larry Lee Tucker

Larry Lee Tucker, 78 of Auburn, KS passed away October 17, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born January 10, 1939 in Wakarusa, KS to Floyd and Freda Tucker. Larry was a graduate of Auburn High School. He served in the Navy for 2 years before becoming a local Truck Driver in the commuting area.

On May 20, 1961 he married Sandra Yager in Miami, OK. She survives and lives in Auburn in the home that they built together. Larry was preceded in death by his father Floyd, mother Freda, and his brother Melvin. He is survived by his brother Ellis (Linda) Tucker, his sister Sue (Mike Breton) Kathe, and his son's Scott Tucker, Gary (Debra) Tucker and his daughter Stephenye Tucker-Guerrero. Larry had 5 Grandkids, Justine (Jared), Lindsay (Aaron), Trent, Trevor and Kayli. He also has 2 Great Grandsons, Tucker and Griffin. He also is survived by many other loving family members.

Larry had many hobbies during his life which included: Jalopy Racing, Dominos, Poker, Fishing, and Gardening. Larry was famous for Smokin and Jokin, and let's not forget Shuckin and Jiving!

Larry was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Auburn Community Center. A Memorial Fund will be set up in Larry's name for the American Cancer Society.
