Larry Lee Parsons

Larry lee Parsons, 80 of Scranton Kansas. Died Saturday July 25, 2020 at home. He was born September 27,1939 in Burlingame Kansas, the son of Earl Jay Parsons and Erma Beauchamp.

He was a carpenter in the northeast of Kansas most of his life before retiring.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; one son Larry Dean Parsons; two brothers: Marvin Duane Parsons and Delbert Parsons; one sister Velda Flowers; one sister in-law Erma Parsons and one Granddaughter Randi Lynn Crosby.

On September 26, 1965 Larry married Merlin McDaniels in Topeka Kansas. He is survived by his wife of 54 years. Four daughters; Sherry Sullivan (the late Shorty Goodyear), Lyndon Kansas, Valerie Lynn (Ken) Fogel, Lebo Kansas, Shirly (Jim)Patterson Topeka Kansas, Michelle Parsons(Michael Moore) Topeka Kansas; Three sons Philip (Ramona) Parsons Scranton Kansas, James McDaniels-Parsons Topeka Kansas, Earl Parsons (Vicky Brown) Scranton Kansas; 12 Grandkids, 33 Great-grandkids and 5 great-great-grandkids. One sister Verla (Clayton) Hunter Hoyt Kansas; two bothers Glen(Joyce) Manning Silver lake Kansas, Jim Parsons(Joyce Whitlow ) Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Celebration of Lifewill be held on September 27th 2020 at the Scranton VFW, 324 S East Ave, Scranton, KS from 11-2pm.
