Kristin Sue Woborny

Kristin Sue Woborny, 68, of Frankfort, KS, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Community Memorial Health in Marysville, KS.

She was born on March 18, 1955, in Marysville, KS, the daughter of Roy and Virginia (Christensen) Woborny.

On April 28th, 1988, Kristin received her BA in Biblical Studies and Minor in Christian Education, from Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. While at Trinity Bible College, Kristin accompanied a group of students for a two-week mission trip to Brazil. After graduating, Kristin moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas where she worked at Hillcrest Children's Home. She later moved back to the Marshall County area to be close to family.

Kristin enjoyed crocheting, baking, reading, word puzzles and loving on children. Many friends and family members have received a crocheted afghan made with love by Kristin.

She is survived by four siblings, Cheryl (Bill) Yungeberg, Waterville, KS, Mary (Brad) McKeever, Marysville, KS, Marte (Rick) Becker, Galena, MO, Chris (Elizabeth) Woborny, Fremont, CA. Seventeen nieces and nephews, and thirty-two great nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death, her parents Roy and Virginia Woborny, a brother, Larry Woborny, along with two sisters, Clione Billau, and Linda Holliman.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Hillcrest Children's Home in Hot Springs, Al.
