Kevin Duane Krohn died May 29th, 2022. His parents Daryl John Krohn and Patricia Arlone Krohn preceded him in death. He resided in the Topeka area most of his life and graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1989. He leaves behind his daughter and her husband, Manessah Davidson and Jamie Davidson.
Kevin was adopted as an infant. He grew up on a small farm off Ratner Road in Shawnee County. He attended both Capital City High School and Shawnee Heights High School. He attended Washburn University and was on the rowing team. He studied different forms of art and music while he attended the university. He went into the Air Force in 1997. He graduated from Basic Training with honors which led to him leading his team at Tech School at Sheppard Air force Base in Texas. He served with the 190th Air Refueling Wing for six years as an airplane mechanic/crew dog member.
Later in life he attended the Bible School held at Light of the World Christian Center where he met his wife. He married Grace Coleman on 03/18/1995. They have one child, Manessah, who survives. If asked, he would have said his greatest loves in this life and the one to come were his relationship with God and his daughter. He and his daughter shared a love/gift of music, art, dance, and the outdoors. They both loved to laugh hard, work hard, and were passionate about many common topics.
He will be missed terribly by all who knew him. His presence was always larger than life, beyond all normalcy, filled with a strong desire to have a good time, and to tell others about Jesus and his daughter, Manessah.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 10:00 am Saturday, June 11th at Open Way Church, 200 NW Gordan Street, Topeka, KS.
