Kerry Allan Marsh

February 22, 1951 — January 19, 2021

Kerry Allan Marsh, 69, Topeka KS, took the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ on Jan. 19, 2021 after weeks of hospitalization.

Born in Sioux City, Iowa, to Merle and Grace Marsh February 22nd 1951 followed by brother, Bruce Marsh and sister, Tammy Forbes (Don) of Carbondale, KS.

Kerry moved to Overbrook, KS in 1967, graduating from Overbrook High in 1969.  (Go Gophers)

He married Deana Luchelle Wisely on Oct. 19, 1973 at the Scranton Methodist Church.

Sports, study of military history, and target shooting were among his interests as well as his love for his family and spending many hours with Zoey the family dog.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Merle, and nieces, Genna and Sophie.

Survivors include his mother, Grace Marsh (Inman, KS), his wife, Deana, and sons, Cory (C.J.) Marsh with wife Lisa (McKinney, TX), Shane Marsh (Topeka, KS), and grandkids, Jude, Hayden, and Stella.  He leaves many relatives and friends who will miss him, his orneriness, and stories.

Kerry was a member of Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene.

In 2015, he retired from Ellena Honda, Lawrence KS, after 35 years in the Service Department.

A special thanks to the ICU nurses and staff of Stormont-Vail for his wonderful care.

Service will be held Thursday, Jan. 28 at 10:00am at the Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene in Topeka Kansas.
