Kenneth Eugene Stone, 74, of Topeka, passed away August 22, 2016. Ken was born June 8th, 1942 son of Kenneth and Shirley Stone, in Kanss City, Missouri. He attended Topeka Lutheran and was named Valedictorian in 1956 and then a 1960 graduate of Topeka High. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ken was a talented musician playing in local bands such as The Monarchs, The Continentals and Good Time Trio touring throughout the country for the Ramada Inn and Holiday Inn circuits. He is survived by his sister Nancy Parker of Topeka; Daughters Sherry Love, Patricia Fuller and Michelle Hanson all of Oregon, Wendy Suave of Madison, Wisconsin and Amy Jean (Jay) Harrison of Topeka, Grandson Josey Harrison, Granddaughter Jena Harrison of Topeka as well as 16 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, A Nephew Addison Parker of Kansas City and Niece Ali (Rod) Gatewood of Topeka and a large amount of loving friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 3rd at Steak Grill Shelter house in Gage Park. Family visitation will be from Noon to 1:00 pm with the Service beginning at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made at Silver Lake Bank Care of The Kenneth Stone Memorial Fund.
