Kayle Allan Lawrence, 54, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Medicine Lodge, KS, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home in Topeka, KS.

He was born on August 1, 1961 at Medicine Lodge, KS, the youngest child of Dallas C. Lawrence and Patricia (Gerstner) Lawrence.

Kayle was a 1979 graduate of Medicine Lodge High School. He graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Advanced Psychology. Kayle was a Systems Analyst for the State of Kansas. He retired in 2008 as a Systems Administrator at Disability Determination Services. Kayle was a member of the New Hope Church, Topeka, KS. He married Constance Trebbe.

Surviving are his parents, Dallas and Patricia Lawrence of Medicine Lodge, KS; one sister, Marcia Lawrence of Emporia, KS; one brother, Scott (Peggy) Lawrence of Kingman, KS; Step-Children, Matthew Trebbe of Springfield, MO and Sarah Trebbe of Kansas City, KS; three nephews, Brian Hazeltine of Kansas City, MO, Dallas Lawrence of Roeland Park, KS, and Justin Harbert of Kingman, KS; two nieces, Gemma Lawrence of Hutchinson, KS and Nichole (Scott) Anderson of Monahans, TX.

Kayle loved to garden, and enjoyed sharing his homegrown bounty. He was a talented tech guy, and his mother's go-to computer expert. Kayle was a tinkerer, doing home renovations, car repairs, even repairing the old barn at his parent's farm, and loved acquiring all the tools necessary to do the job at hand. He was also an avid reader and music lover.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, 2:00 pm, at the United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
