Kathleen Foss Price

Kathleen Foss Price, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024, at the age of 84 in Topeka, Kansas. Born on July 19, 1939, in Junction City, Kansas, Kathleen's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the profound love she had for her family and community.

Kathleen grew up loving to ride horses around Junction City. She married Dr. Nedrick Price in 1959, and together, they raised five children.

Kathleen was a committed member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she helped with various organizations within the parish.

Kathleen worked alongside her husband at his veterinary clinic in Junction City, where she was not only an integral part of the business but also a friendly and familiar face to all who visited. Kathleen's and Nedrick's home was always filled with animals as they treated their furry companions as family.

After they retired from their veterinary practice, Kathleen and Nedrick moved to Kansas City, Missouri. In 2011 Kathleen's husband, Dr. Nedrick Price, passed away. Kathleen was a devoted wife and caretaker to her husband and his passing was greatly felt.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Cleary, her loving husband Dr. Nedrick Price, daughter Kelan Purucker and grandson Kalun Purucker. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth "Jo" Buckmaster, children Nedrick Price, Susan Smith, Margaret Price, and Sarah Price, grandchildren Jason, Nathan, Austin, Adam, Jared, Derek, Jael, Tayrn, and Eilis, as well as 20 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Topeka, Kansas, on Saturday, July 6 at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held the same day at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Junction City, Kansas at 1:00pm. A memorial gathering will be held immediately following the graveside service at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Junction City
