Kari Lee Kelly

Kari Lee Kelly, 57 years of age, born October 3, 1965, passed away on Tuesday, November 8th, after a two-year battle with cancer.

Kari was born in Topeka, Kansas, where she attended Jardine Middle School and graduated from Topeka High School. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Washburn University.

Kari went on to serve her entire 32-year professional career in Human Resources at Stormont-Vail Health. Her passion for HR and those she worked alongside drove her to succeed and advance throughout those 32 years. She was also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Kari is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Kelly. She is survived by her mother, Lois Kelly; daughters, Alyson Simons (Scott), MaKenzi Tyler (Derek), and Chloe Holt; grandchildren, Jack, Stella, Reid, and Huxley; sisters, Konni Flynn (Michael), Kim Terhune (Randy); and nephews.

In lieu of a memorial service, memorial contributions may be made to, Topeka High Historical Society or Washburn University Alumni Association and Foundation.
