Julius E. Wright (Jude) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife Geneva and family on October 1, 2014. Jude and Geneva were married in 1956 celebrating over 57 years of marriage.
Jude was born in April 1934 to Jack and Lucille Wright of Richmond Missouri. He graduated from Richmond High School and joined the United States Army Fort Riley "Big Red 1" unit in the mid 50's, stationed overseas in Germany. He later became a comptroller for Shaw and Son's Hauling and Excavating before retiring and moving to Arizona. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards and tinkering around their little house in Phoenix Arizona.
Jude was a loving, kind and compassionate man who loved people and knew just what to say to make a person feel special. He loved Jesus and is now dancing his way through a great banquet hall in heaven free from the pain and suffering from the brutal disease that took him from us.
He is survived by his wife Geneva, son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Robin Wright; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Sonia Wright; grandchildren Christopher Wright, Koren (Korey) Barden, Mike Sharp and Rica Salango, great grandchildren Silas, Kai-Lynn, Sloane and Laikyn and sister Sandy Maupin. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Wright and mother Lucille Wright.
Jude was cremated and a private family service is planned. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Midland Care (Hospice) at https://www.midlandcareconnection.org/sslpage.aspx?pid=659
