Judy Light

Judy Light, 79, of Topeka, Ks, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020.

Judy was born in Topeka, Ks on November 13th, 1940.

Preceded in death, husband, Larry Light, Parents, Paul and Dorothy Garrett, Brothers, James and Gary Garrett.Survivors, daughters, Denise Munoz, Shari (Mel) Ternes8 grandchildren:  Michael(Krys)Munoz, Adrian(Amanda)Munoz, Melissa(Ryan)Lampman, Amanda(Jacob)Cline, Abigail(Colby)Thomas, Lydia, Emily, and Isaac Ternes 6 great-grandchildren:Jeremiah, Isaiah, Claire, Colton Lampman, James Thomas, Kash Munoz Larry and Judy were married 49 years before he passed. They were great companions and loved each other very much.

Judy graduated from Washburn Rural High School then went on to cosmetology school.  She was a cosmetologist for 59 years where she met and served many people.  She loved making ladies look pretty.

Judy's laugh was contagious!  She was always the life of the party or family gathering.  She might have been small but her personality was large. 🙂 Everyone loved her so much!  She also loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was not afraid to share Him with others.  Between her prayers, Bible studies, and listening ear, God used her in great ways.  We celebrate the fact she's with Him and isn't suffering any longer.
