Joseph Robert Beier, Sr.

Joseph "Joe" Robert Beier, Sr, 69, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

He was born June 23, 1953, in Topeka, KS, the son of Carl and Maxine Beier, and step son of Joannie Beier. Joe is survived by his wife, Cheryl Beier, his children Melissa Beier Mulcahy and Neyl Beier. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Beier, Jr and wives Diane and Tina Beier. His grandchildren include Austin Beier, Cierra and Kaiya Fravel, Elycia and Eva Joyce and Tajia Brown. Surviving siblings include, Gus Beier, Michael Beier, Max Beier, David Halleron, Debie Halleron, Diana Donis and Dawn Dennis and sister-in-law Barbara Long.

Joseph Beier retired from the Topeka Capital Journal, graduated from Topeka High School, and was an Army veteran.

Cremation has taken place and a life celebration will be held later this year.
