Jone Marta Austin

January 16, 2015 Jone Marta (Johnson) Austin, passed away. Jone was born in Enid Oklahoma on December 15, 1938 to Paul Q. Johnson and Bessie M. (Pendergast) Johnson. Jone has two siblings Paul Q. Johnson Jr. and Jean Marie Spawn, both of Florida.

Jone graduated Hepler High School in Hepler Kansas in 1954. Jone attended the University of Kansas for 2 years.

Jone married Carl W. Austin on September 11, 1957. Jone and Carl had four children Dennis Carl Austin, Terri Jone Austin Coughlin, Paul Dwayne Austin and Tracy Ann Austin Lee.

Jone retired from the Northeast Kansas Education Service Center in 2003 where she was a paraprofessional.

Jone was proceeded in death by her husband Carl W Austin in 2009, her two sons Dennis Carl Austin, 2003, Paul Dwayne Austin, 2002. Jone is survived by her daughters Terri Coughlin and Tracy Lee of Oskaloosa. Jone has 7 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.

There will be a family and friends gathering at Terri's home in Oskaloosa on Sunday January 25th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
