John Clayton Riley, born on February 1, 1944, in Indianola, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his home in Topeka, Kansas, on April 13.
John was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures; playing pool, mowing yards, and his love for tractors, trucks, and Corvettes. Above all, he cherished his time with his grandchildren.
"John's love for children extended beyond his own family; he cherished all kids as if they were his own grandchildren, spreading joy and warmth to everyone around him."
He is survived by his two children, Tiffany Riley and John Clayton Riley II, known as JC. John also leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren: Isabel, Jeweliana, Sophia, Konnor, Braelee, Michayla and Jackson. His memory is further cherished by his son-in-law Pedro Munoz (Chloe) and his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Green (Percy).
John is also survived by his sister Barbara, niece Pam, and nephew Mark. His legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
John will be laid to rest with his parents and brother in McAlester,OK. There will be a celebration of life in Topeka scheduled at a later date.
