John Biri

John Biri (JB), 72 of Topeka, KS passed away June 3, 2017. He was born October 25, 1944 in Jackson, MO, the son of John Biri Sr. and Alma (Christi) Biri. John graduated from Jackson Senior High and resided in Topeka since 1963. He was employed by Walmart in Topeka, KS. Previous professions included construction worker, taught building trades at Topeka Women's Correctional Facility, and owned JB Trucking Company and JB Maintenance and Repair. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. His true passion was riding his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his sister Betty Evans of Jackson, MO, three children, Penny Mulford of Topeka, KS, Sandy Mulford of Carbondale, KS, and John L Biri of Jackson, MO, through his first marriage to Peggy Hendrix; two stepchildren, Veronica Fischer of Tecumseh, KS, and Stephanie Osier of Sahuarita, AZ, through his second marriage to Lilla Love-Lee as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Biri.

Services will be held at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, Thursday June 8th at 1:00 pm and laid to rest at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, MO where a second service will be held.
