Jeffrey Raymond Johns

Jeffrey Raymond Johns passed away on September 1st, 2023, at his home in Emporia, KS.

He was born on February 27th, 1958, to Walter L. Johns and Donna M. Johns.

Jeffrey graduated from Reading High School in 1976 where he played basketball and football. He also had a Hay hauling business during that time. He joined the US Army on September 9, 1979, being honorably discharged on August 1, 1985.

Jeffrey had several different jobs during his life, but his favorites were running a hunting lodge near Eskridge KS and a personal assistant to Mr. Cashman in Las Vegas NV. He later moved to Arizona then back to Kansas.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, and nephew Kyle Wilson. He is survived by his sister Jodi Wilson of Ozawkie Ks, brother Jay (Gracie) Johns of Buckeye Arizona. Nephews Tyler (Ashly) Wilson, Michael (Kira) Wilson, Justin Compton, and Jay B. Johns along with two great-nieces and three great-nephews, cousins and two aunts also survive.

Cremation has taken place, a private burial will be held at a later date.
