Jeffrey Calvin

Jeff Calvin, 59, Carbondale, KS passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

Jeffrey Eugene Calvin was born January 11, 1964, the son of Joseph and Mary Ellen Shay Calvin. He graduated from Hayden High School in 1982. Jeff served 14 years in the Kansas National Guard, attaining the rank of sergeant. Jeff was an LPN in and around Topeka for many years before he was disabled. He had a great sense of humor and was always up for a good time. Jeff was a big fan of the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs. He especially treasured time with his family. Jeff will be dearly missed.

Jeff lived with and was cared for by his twin brother, Jerry and Jerry's wife, Kim. Jeff and Jerry's lifetime bond was strong and constant throughout Jeff's life.

Jeff is survived by son Arnold Jerome (A.J.) Calvin; his brothers and sisters Jeanne M. Roth (Dick), David L. Calvin (Beth), Timothy R. Calvin (Gloria), Catherine L. Burnett (Steve), Constance S. Norwood, Lawrence D. Calvin (Brenda), Kevin D. Calvin (Susan), twin brother Jerome A. Calvin (Kim), Mary Jo Struttman (Al), Theresa A. Lundin (John). Jeff also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joe, Steve, Phil, Chris, and Tony Calvin.

Jeff's family invites you to join them in a Celebration of Life in Jeff's honor on Saturday, January 28th from 11:00 to 2:00 at Snyder's Cabin in Gage Park.
