Janie Lucille Foga

Janie Lucille Foga, 75, of Topeka, KS went home to be with Jesus on July 26, 2020 after passing peacefully in her sleep. She was born August 22, 1944 to Albert and Violet Clark in Coffeyville, KS. She married John Foga on November 21, 1990. He proceeds her in death.

Also proceeding her in death are three sisters, Wilma Robirds, Nellora "Lordy" Baker-Rufener, Diane Irey, and one grandson, Michael Biggers.

Survivors include sisters, Pam Lewis of Cottonwood Falls, KS and Cora Tharp of Topeka, KS; two Brothers, Earl Tallman of San Francisco, CA and Ronald (Janice) Clark of Coffeyville, KS; three daughters, Sherri Varelman, Joyce (Walt) Shaver, Rena Ginter (Robert Simmons); one son, David Varelman (Melissa Noonan) all of Topeka, KS; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Janie retired from Brewster Place after many years working in the environmental services field. She enjoyed spending her free time reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching western shows, traveling, antiquing and spending quality time with her family.

Due to the risk of COVID-19, there will not be a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to Tanglewood Health and Rehab activity department.
