Janet Lee Philips-Price

Janet Lee Philips-Price passed away on October, 3, 2024, at the Healthcare Resort of Topeka. Jan was born on April 27th, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas, daughter of Austin Phillips and Fern Doolittle Phillips.

She was married to Jim Price in 1963. She is survived by her husband Jim Price, son Todd Price and daughter Shannon Price-Uhl. She has 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A granddaughter, Kelsey Price and her parents preceded her in death.

Jan was very proud of her education. She had 3 college degrees: Bachelor of education from Washburn, 1968, Masters of Public Administration from KU, 1982 and Masters of Clinical Social Work, 1996. She had many jobs, including Real estate, head of the ACLU and Social work to name a few.

Her services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Ward Meade Park in Old Prairie Town Chapel , 124 NW Fillmore, Topeka, KS.
