James William Renbarger, 77, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022.
James was born June 4, 1944, in Topeka, the son of Harry and Cleo Sealey Renbarger. He was a member of the first graduating class of Topeka West High School. James married Christine Walters. They enjoyed bowling, boating, camping, baseball, Ski Club at Lake Shawnee, and going dancing on Saturday nights. James also enjoyed coaching his sons little league teams. He worked for Capital Distributing for almost 25 years and then drove a big rig until retirement.
James is survived by his sons, Randy and Brian Renbarger; grandchildren, Heather Schmidt (Shane), Cory Renbarger, Westley Renbarger, Tyler Renbarger (Lauren) and Andrew Renbarger; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Doug Renbarger and Nancy Renbarger (Gerald Sneegas). He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Renbarger in 2015 and his son, Terry Renbarger in 1995.
The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka KS 66614.
