Jacqueline Sue Salsbury, 82, of Topeka, KS, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at the House at Midland Care.
She was born May 5, 1944, in Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Vernon and Helen (Bratton) Minshall.
Jacqueline was the Registrar for the School of Psychiatry at The Menninger Foundation for 25 years. Upon her departure from Menninger’s she started her own business, Probill Medical Billing, retiring after 25 years of ownership.
She married Charles A. Salsbury on February 14, 1964, in Topeka KS.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles A. Salsbury, three children, Greg Salsbury and his wife, Rozanne, Tracy Appelhanz and her husband, Charlie, Jeff Salsbury and his wife, Laura. Seven grandchildren along with two great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Mary Sue Salsbury, her mother, Helen Brumley, father, Vernon Minshall, a sister, Sandra Savage and a brother Daniel “Danny” Minshell.
Cremation has taken place. At a future time, her urn will be buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka, KS.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jacqueline’s memory to Midland Care Hospice, 201 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
