Jack D. Lister passed away on June 12 due to illness. He was born in Topeka, KS on July 2, 1947 to Cecil and Ethel Lister. Jack was known for his talent and creative ability to draw anything. He was a Graphic Arts Designer and worked at Jostens Printing company for many years.
August 10, 1974, he married Theresa Carson and they had five children. Two preceded him in death, Ryan Joseph in 1988 and Kathleen Lynn in 2013. Survivors include: Laura Williams, Ozawkie, KS; Melanie Ditch, Topeka, KS; Josh Lister and wife Ashley, Topeka, KS. Grandkids include: Howie Williams, Jhonen and Corah Lister. He also has many cousins, siblings, nieces and nephews that he loved.
After retiring he began to perfect his wood carving skills and shared many masterpieces with friends and family. Jack was a proud Army brat and dearly loved the military. He would always recall fond memories of living in the barracks with his many friends at Karlsruhe American High School in Germany. He also enjoyed sports and watching our local Kansas teams.
