Jack W. Kraus

Jack W. Kraus, 78, Alma, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018.  Jack was born October 17, 1940 in Alma, KS, the son of Harvey M. and Katherine J. (Fry) Kraus.  Jack married Betty Schleif in Alma on May 20, 1962.  He worked for Reece Construction Company until 1987, and after that he worked the family farm.

Survivors include two sons, Rex (Cindy) Kraus, and Richard (Joann) Kraus; a sister, Elaine (Keith) Lloyd; a brother, David (Hoeun) Kraus; six grandchildren, Trent (Erin) Kraus, Kiri Kraus, Kylor (Hunter) Kraus, Korey (Kellie) Kraus, Kasi Kraus, and Kameron Kraus; seven great-grandchildren, Cason, Keagan, Taylee, Keaton, Karsyn, Kord, and Camden.  He was preceded in death December 25, 2009 by his beloved wife, Betty.

Jack was cremated and a memorial service will be held on January 19, 2019 at 11:00am at the Eskridge Methodist Church, 301 S Pine Street, Eskridge, Ks.
