Howard W. Zeliff

Howard W. Zeliff, Jr., age 70, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Topeka, Ks., on Friday, May 11, 2018. Howard was cremated and no services are planned.

Howard retired from the Air Force on June 30, 1985, after serving for 20 years. He was born in San Diego, California, on July 16, 1947. He was the son of Howard W. Zeliff, Sr., and Geraldine "Jerry" Wheeler Zeliff.

Howard graduated from Baldwin (Kan.) High School in 1965. He married Jeanne McCollister, in Alpine, Texas, in July 1975. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Jeanne McCollister Zeliff; his son, John Zeliff; and sister, Catherine Zeliff. Survivors include his daughter, Kim Weeks (Glenn); Hiwasse, Ar., twin sister, Dotti Fisher, Hoyt, Ks., sister, Mary Lou Schmidt (Leroy), Topeka, Ks.; grandchildren Jackie Zenger (Tyler) Manhattan, Ks.;John Scott Weeks, Pineville, Mo., and Samantha Cunningham, Hiwasse, Ar.; along with many nieces and nephews.
