Howard Dale Criqui

Howard Dale Criqui, 86, passed away May 29, 2017. Born in Olivet Kansas on April 24, 1931, the son of Harve and Rotha Criqui. He was married to Shirley M. Littrell for 57 years, wed September 26, 1960. She preceded him in death on November 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by three sons, Glenn Dale Criqui, Kevin Criqui and David Criqui. Survivors include two children, Robert L. Criqui, wife Linda and Renee E. Criqui, wife Cecilia. Five grandchildren, Michelle Criqui, Jason Criqui and Aron Criqui, and Lily Yager, and five great grandchildren. Howard was a Meriden, Kansas resident for 44 years, enjoying the country side and watching the fields of green turn gold. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, family gatherings, bbq's and cake afterwards. Howard was a hard worker, always making sure to provide for his family. Working many years for Senne Construction, Stueve's Construction, plus many other construction jobs. He also worked for Pioneer Village, teaching woodworking to developmentally disabled adults. He loved to create and recreate anything at of wood. Howard was a veteran in the Army, servicing overseas in the Korean War.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Rock Creek Bible Church, 5257 Highway K-92, Meriden, Kansas, with a pot luck luncheon to follow.
